Philadelphia, PA – Mar 28, 2012 – AboutOne (http://www.AboutOne.com) will be showcased today during the Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) inaugural Phorum 2012 conference (http://phorumphilly.com). Phorum 2012 is a one-day cloud computing technology conference for business and technology executives seeking guidance on cloud strategies to transform the way their companies do business, go to market, and compete. AboutOne founder and CEO Joanne Lang will be demoing a preview of the soon-to-be released version of the company’s online organizer, as well as the new Windows Phone mobile app, developed in partnership with Microsoft.

Lang most recently spoke as a panelist and mentor at BlogHer Entrepreneurs ’12, and as part of the Change Makers panel, moderated by Jessica Harris, producer and host of From Scratch (http://www.fromscratchradio.org/show/), a weekly NPR radio show about the entrepreneurial life, as well as on the Moms as CEOs of the Household panel during the MommyTech Summit, a lifestyle exhibition and conference embedded within the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show and focused exclusively on the newest technology innovations and trends aimed at the $90 billion dollar Mommy market.
Former software company executive and cloud technology expert Lang’s company AboutOne recently closed over $1.8 million in Series A funding in a round led by Golden Seeds. The company has also partnered with Microsoft and Suze Orman (IDSafe) to launch the new version of AboutOne based on feedback from the company’s current customers and focused on rewarding users for being organized.
