Bug Fixes

This release includes various bug fixes including:

• 2013 is now an available year for selection for birthdays
• Contact numbers on Reports page and Contacts page now match
• Sharing to non-AboutOne account holder now functioning properly
• Entry Delete button now functioning in all supported browsers
• Emailing into your AboutOne account no longer creates duplicate entries

New Features

1. Alert/Reminder Emails – Now you can get all of your reminders emailed to you! Simply set the reminder and you will be alerted in the system and via email.

2. Daily View – Check out our new Daily View! You get a daily score to keep you organized, suggested entries, and quick, one-stop entry creation from the Daily View.

3. Journal Entries – We’ve added Journal Entries as an entry type on the Daily View. Use a suggested journal entry or create one of your own.

4. Suggested Entries – Connect your Facebook and/or Google accounts to bring in your posts & calendar entries as suggested entries. Also, birthdays and anniversaries entered into AboutOne contacts will appear as suggested entries. We’ll even suggest Journal Entries to get you started.




5. Email Changing – From the Settings page, you can now change the email address associated with your account. Doing this will change the email with which you log into AboutOne.

6. New Settings - You can now change settings such as email associated with your account, timezone, and alert preferences. Simply click the gear icon in the top right corner and click Settings.


7. Entry Cover Photo – You can now change the focus or main photo on an entry! Simply edit an entry with more than 1 photo attached, and click Change Cover Photo on the right.

8. Dropbox Integration – You can add any files from your Dropbox account right to your AboutOne entries! Simply click the Dropbox icon on the Daily View entry or the Dropbox button on the Advanced Form, login to your Dropbox account, and select your files.

Bug Fixes

This release includes various bug fixes including:

• Error on Google Import
• Printable Health Summary now shows all medications marked as “Still Taking” at the top
• .key is now an accepted file type for upload

New Features

1. Emailing In – You can now email in text and attachments to file@aboutone.com from the email address associated with your AboutOne account! This will create an “Unfiled Entry” that you can file when you have the time.

2. Faster Video Playback – Previously, video playback in AboutOne was a pretty slow process. Now, we’ve made changes that will make playing videos much faster.

3. Sharing Digest Email Enhancements – We’ve added information to the Sharing Digest emails to make it a snap to see your sharing activity. The digest now includes ‘Entries Shared With Me’, ‘Entries I Shared’ with number of views, and ‘New Comments’.

New Features

1. Export Contacts from Reports Dashboard – You can now export contacts from the Reports Dashboard. Simply click Reports in the top menu bar, type the label into the box, and click Export Contacts.

2. Ability to Add Unique Account Communication Email – In the settings, you can now enter a different email address for where you’d like your account communication emails to go. This can be the same or different than the email you use to log into your account. This will affect all system-generated emails including sharing emails and password reset emails.

3. Sharing Email Enhancements – Added “Do Not Reply” messaging to all sharing emails.

New Features

1. Babysitter Report - We’ve added a Babysitter Report to the Reports Dashboard. Click View Report and a new tab opens where you can customize the babysitter report with children, bedtimes, and instructions.

2. Product Search - We’ve also added a Product Search to the Possessions section of the site. Simply search for any keyword and select the inventory item you wish to add to your Possessions. All the relevant information will be filled in for you, making adding possessions a snap!

3. Delete Entries from Shared With Me stream – You can now clean up your ‘Shared with Me’ stream by deleting entries you no longer need. Simply click the entry and click the Delete button.

4. Copy ‘Shared With Me’ Entries to Your Own Stream - You can now also copy entries that have been shared with you to your own stream. Just click the entry and click the Copy to Stream button.***

*Comments will not copy to your stream.

Improvements to Households

Adding a comma to costs in cost tables in entries no longer creates wrong total amount

New Features

1. Add Entries to Google Calendar: Each entry contains an Add to Google button. Click the button and the details of your entry will appear on the correct date of your Google Calendar.

2. Reporting: You can now access the Report Dashboard, where you can pull a Health Summary Report for each of your family members or a Possession Report that will list all of your Inventory items.

3. Sharing Enhancements: Now you can hover over the share icon in an entry in your stream to see who has viewed and/or commented on the entry.

4. Export Contacts: Perfect for holiday card labels, simply label each individual contact with the same label (such as Holiday), then enter that label into the contact search. The option to export the list will appear and you will be able to export those contacts into a .csv file. The file will contain Name, Address 1, Address 2, Address 3, City, State, Postcode, and Country. (*Only individual contacts (not groups) are able to be exported.)

3. Filter Contacts by Letter to make finding contacts a snap.

In this release, we have rewritten the Sharing Notification email to be more descriptive so your friends and family don’t mistake it for Spam.

Also, you as the Sharer will be Blind Carbon Copied on those sharing notification emails, in case your friends and family miss the email, so you can easily forward it to them.

• Ability to add more than First/Middle/Last name for a contact
• Ability to enter decimals for lot size and bathrooms in your home possession
• Ability to sort the stream in several different ways

1. Shareables is a new feature that allows you to securely share memories or items while keeping ownership of the attachment.

You can share with anyone; whether they are already an AboutOne user or not!

You can set up and organize their memories, health, and milestones from their life the same way you can for any profile that you manage.

You can enter detailed information for your pet.

Click the Organization Station to the right of the screen to see all of the ways to earn new badges!

You’ll see all the badges and levels you can work toward.

When you click a badge or level, the steps toward that badge or level will appear to the right.

Life Events
Add a Life Event of Memory, Document, Health Event, Education Event, Home or Vehicle Project, Career Event, or Community Service Event! Attach documents, photos, videos, or music files to any Life Event for any family member to:

• Relive memories
• Keep track of home and vehicle projects & maintenance so you have the records anywhere and anytime you need them
• Log volunteer hours
• Store education information such as report cards, diplomas, photos & videos from school events, etc.
• Keep track of career events such as jobs & resumes
• Have immediate access to health information like medications & dosages, allergies, doctors, etc.
• Access important documents like Visas, Birth Certificates

Simply click + Add Life Event and select the type of Life Event you’d like to record.

Associate with a single family member, multiple family members or the entire family by clicking on their photo.

Add other contacts by typing their name into the box and clicking Enter.

Add a Label to the Life Event for easy searching/filing.

Add a Location in the Location box.

File Under other categories to keep everything super organized.

Different Family Surnames – family members can now have different surnames; just select the contact and edit the name.

Family Name Change – click the family name at the bottom of any screen, or, in Contacts, select Edit Group.
